Hello folks. I've been involved for over 15 years in various
computer-related jobs and projects. Some have involved writing code and
pulling wires, but most of them have been in the "softer" areas of business analysis and
requirements definition with some cost analysis and project management as
well. Along the way I've become familiar with and
practiced several techniques and disciplines for solving problems,
understanding business processes, defining
automated system requirements, and
improving process performance. These have ranged from Yourdan-DeMarco
Structured Analysis & Design to Total Quality Management to Business Process
Reengineering to Knowledge Management. I've provided these services to
large government agencies, private sector companies, and non-profit
organizations. I've worked with folks on the front lines, in middle
management, and in executive suites.
I'm currently providing requirements analysis support to the
Department of Veterans Affairs as they improve the processes and systems
involved in registration of beneficiaries and eligibility determinations.
