Grandchildren.

Sarah Emily

Young Miss Sarah (also known as "Sarahbelle") was born on July 2, 2000 to Jim's daughter Lisa and Lisa's husband Michael. We received these and several other pictures by email late on the 1st of June. (Sarah, Lisa and Michael, I love the flag picture!) We don't see her nearly as much as we would like to, but we have been able to visit four or five times in Sarah's two years. We'll be there again for a birthday party very soon.

A second granddaughter is due to be born in October of 2002. We don't have any pictures of her as yet but look forward to some in a few short months.

Pets.

Casey

Our current cat joined us in 1998 several months after we lost Esmé (after 12 years) to the diseases of old age. Casey is very vocal without being very articulate. What she lacks in clarity she tries to offer in emotion and intensity. [Casey pics will be posted here soon.]

Parents.

Jim's father Roland S. Wass is a round dance teacher and cuer in Southern California.
